Caramel lovers are in for a treat.
Milky Way has a decadent new bar that “brings the brand’s gooey caramel into the spotlight,” per an announcement shared with PEOPLE.
The upcoming release, Milky Way All Caramel, hits stores nationally beginning in January 2026.
“This bar is filled with all of the Milky Way caramel that consumers know and love with none of the nougat,” the description adds. It will be available both in a 1.55-oz. single size and a 3.11-oz. shareable size.
This isn’t the first time the brand has ditched nougat. In 2010, it introduced a previous iteration of its caramel-forward bar with a slightly different name, Milky Way Simply Caramel.

A recent Reddit thread had candy fans expressing their excitement for the new Milky Way.
“I can’t wait. The caramel one was my favorite,” wrote one enthusiast.
Previous discussions on the platform included pleas for Mars to revive the Simply Caramel version, after its discontinuation in 2023.
“Mars company seriously needs to bring these back. I was looking forward to this candy bar every Halloween and now you can’t get it at all. Please please please bring it back,” one person wrote.
“I know it is just a candy bar… but I gotta say, my day is worse after finding out their discontinuation was confirmed. I’ve been craving them for a year now! Oh well… maybe they’ll bring them back someday,” said another commenter.

Earlier this year, caramel fans got another exciting candy release when Mars launched a Twix Snickerdoodle variety.
The new flavor combination, released in May, adds a cinnamon-sugar twist to the layers of milk chocolate, caramel and biscuit the original bars are known for.
A press release the brand shared with PEOPLE said the item “taps into the deep well of nostalgia while embracing the current tastes and trends that fans crave.”
The release also noted that Mars hoped to bring “cozy cookie energy to the candy aisle” with the confection, which follows Cookie Dough as the second cookie-inspired flavor that’s been added to the Twix lineup.
