Police in Newnan are investigating a deadly shooting that left a Coweta County man dead late Monday night.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire just before midnight on Octavia Place, where they found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, according to authorities.
The victim has been identified as 38-year-old Hunter Ross Williams. He was taken to a hospital, where doctors attempted lifesaving measures, but he later died from his injuries.
Investigators say the circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear, and many questions remain unanswered. Authorities have taken to social media asking anyone with information to come forward as they work to piece together what happened.
