A man is facing charges after allegedly shooting from his vehicle into a Duluth restaurant this past weekend.
The Gwinnett County Police Department said officers were called to the restaurant early Sunday morning, October 22.
“It appears the accused was a customer, and a dispute occurred inside the restaurant between the accused and the employees,” a statement from the police department said. “Shots were then fired at the restaurant by the accused from a moving vehicle.”
The suspect, identified as Leamon Carter, age 48, was later found and arrested after police used flock cameras to track the vehicle to a nearby residence.
Carter is being held in the Gwinnett County Jail without bond on 10 counts of aggravated assault and a charge of drive-by shooting. Gwinnett police added that a woman was also arrested, but her name and charges have not been publicly released as of Wednesday afternoon.
