“Love Is Blind ”Star“ ”Brennon Lemieux’s Divorce Filing Reveals Reason Behind Shocking Split from Alexa

Court records are revealing the details of Love Is Blind alums Brennon Lemieux and wife Alexa Lemieux’s divorce. 

According to documents obtained by PEOPLE, Brennon filed for divorce on Nov. 5, nearly a month before the pair announced their split. The petition states that “the marriage has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities between” Alexa and Brennon “that destroys the legitimate ends of the marriage relationship and prevents any reasonable expectation of reconciliation.”

It further indicates that the former couple plan on coming to a written agreement outside of court regarding custody of their 17-month-old daughter Vienna and division of their community property, while Brennon requested that he keep any assets he obtained before the marriage. Us Weekly was first to report the news.

On Wednesday, Dec. 3, Alexa revealed that she and Brennon were going their separate ways more than four years after tying the knot in a lengthy Instagram post.

“After much reflection and many heartfelt conversations, we have made the difficult decision to end our marriage,” she began. “This choice was not made lightly, and it comes with a great deal of care, respect, and appreciation for the time we’ve shared.”

“We entered this relationship with love and optimism, and we leave it with gratitude for the experiences that shaped us and the growth we each gained along the way,” the reality star continued. “While our journey as a married couple is coming to an end, we remain supportive of one another, devoted to our daughter, and committed to navigating this transition with compassion.”

She concluded: “We kindly ask for privacy as we move forward and focus on our individual paths while keeping our precious daughter as our top priority.”

Alexa and Brennon met during season 3 of Love Is Blind and wed on-camera in June 2021. Three years later, they welcomed their daughter. During an interview with PEOPLE in 2024, the two praised the Netflix series for bringing them together.

“I don’t think Brennon and I would have met outside the show, although I’m hopeful that fate would’ve intervened,” Alexa explained. “[LIB] allowed for both of us to communicate and really put ourselves out there.”

They also teased plans for their fifth anniversary, which would have been in 2026.

“When we pictured our wedding day before getting married, we both separately were like we really want to get married on a beach,” Alexa said. “So we could definitely do that. Just barefoot on a beach and just be able to renew that with our children by then… I think it would be really special.”

“Have a little flower girl, a ring bearer,” Brennon added. “Guess we got to have more kids!”
