Kris Jenner is remembering her late sister Karen Houghton on what would have been her 67th birthday.
“Happy heavenly birthday to my beautiful sister Karen,” the 70-year-old businesswoman wrote of her younger sibling in an Instagram tribute on Monday, Nov. 24.

“I think about you every single day… I miss you, I love you, and I know you’re watching over all of us,”The Kardashians star continued.
Kris’s post was filled with throwback photos of her with Karen, as well as other photos of loved ones. Their mother, Mary Jo Shannon (affectionately known as “MJ”), appeared in several photos — so did Jenner’s children, Kourtney Kardashian, Rob Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian and Kim Kardashian.

The late Rob Kardashian Sr. was also in one of the photos with Kris’s sister in the post, which was shared to the momager’s Instagram Stories.
Karen died “unexpectedly” at the age of 65 on March 18, 2024, with Jenner announcing the news online.
“It is with the heaviest heart and deepest sadness that I share that my sister Karen passed away yesterday unexpectedly,” she wrote in a lengthy statement accompanied with photos of Karen.
She added that her “heart aches” for their mother MJ and Houghton’s daughter Natalie.
“Karen was beautiful inside and out. She was the sweetest, kindest, the most sensitive and vulnerable and so so funny,” Jenner said of her sister, later adding, “She holds such a huge part of my heart and I cherish every single memory we have together.”

Karen died from cardiac arrest and sudden cardiac arrhythmia, according to a death certificate obtained by TMZ at the time. The document also listed Type 2 diabetes as a secondary underlying cause.
She and Kris were raised together in San Diego, Calif., but unlike her famous family, Karen lived her life out of the public eye.

Following her death, Kim also shared a post paying respect to her late aunt. Her carousel was filled with photos of them together from when the SKIMS mogul, 45, was a baby to her teen years.
“I love you so much auntie Karen,” she captioned the upload, adding two white dove emojis.
