Kim Kardashian Posts 6-Figure Unboxing of Her Hermès Birthday Presents, Including Rare Birkin, from Mom Kris Jenner

Kim Kardashian was a lucky birthday girl on her 45th.

The actress celebrated another year around the sun on Oct. 21 in Paris while promoting her new show, All’s Fair, but that didn’t stop the festivities from being had.

Over the weekend, Kim shared a glimpse at her birthday presents from mom Kris Jenner in a vlog-style TikTok. In an unboxing portion of the video, the SKIMS founder showed off the two Hermès pieces, one being a rare Birkin Shoulder Bag in red crocodile leather designed by Jean Paul Gaultier and a dark beige croc Kelly Cut clutch, which retails anywhere between $26,000 and $29,500 on luxury resale platforms such as Fashionphile and Madison Avenue Couture. A similar crocodile Birkin was sold recently for $75,000.

Kim admitted that the Shoulder Bag was always meant to be hers — even before her mom gave one to her little sis, Kylie Jenner.

“[Kris] ends up getting one for Kylie for her birthday before mine, one that I had on hold that I forgot to respond to,” Kim said in the video. “Gave away my swag and then acted like she never heard of it before.”

Perhaps it was the handbag Kylie featured in a Khy TikTok video back in August, where she quickly showed a glimpse of a darker colorway of the iconic piece that, as reported by, Page Six, previously retailed for $73,000 on 1stDibs.

In her interview with Alex Cooper on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Kim got real about the heightened emotions she was feeling when she found out her younger sibling became the owner of the bag of her dreams (with the accidental help of Khloé Kardashian).

“I turn into a monster and I’m like rage-texting [Kris],” she admitted, adding that Kylie is unaware of the quarrel.

Despite the slight rift she might’ve caused, it only made sense for Kris to add to Kim’s Birkin collection since she’s one of the Kardashian-Jenners who is majorly obsessed with the iconic accessory — so much so that she’s been previously seen caring around the massive Haut A Courroies 50cm style (the design comes with a $110,000 price tag).

Kim’s birthday party took place at the cabaret club Crazy Horse Paris, per Just Jared. She was photographed wearing a corseted gold and white minidress from the Givenchy by Alexander McQueen’s Spring/Summer 1997 haute couture collection, “Search for the Golden Fleece.”

Another bash hosted by fashion photographer Mert Alas was thrown in honor of the Kardashians star in London early last week. Photos shared by Alas’ gin brand, Seventy One Gin — which was serving up golden martinis throughout the evening — revealed the birthday girl’s two nude-inspired outfit changes. One look was an ultra-cinching sheer corset minidress paired with lace-up heels and the other was a Dilara Findikoglu design with a teeny beaded bra as a top.

While her daughter has been taking the Ryan Murphy-created series worldwide with her cast, Kris has been joining in on the fun and bringing the glam. Not only did the momager attend the premiere in Paris dressed in a Victorian-inspired Oscar de la Renta gown, she also stepped out for the Oct. 16 Los Angeles premiere outfitted in a head-turning yellow Givenchy blazer cape dress and a chic side-parted bob.
