Kate Middleton acted with both concern and humor when something went wrong during the royal family’s annual Christmas walk.
The Princess of Wales, 43, joined the royals in their holiday church outing on Dec. 25, after which they spent time greeting some of the well-wishers who gathered outside. Princess Kate took her time shaking hands and exchanging hellos with members of the public at Sandringham, the royal family’s private estate in Norfolk where they traditionally spend Christmas.
At one point, Kate was shaking hands with someone when a loud crack was heard, as seen in a video shared by The Sun.
Turning her attention to a man whose chair broke, the Princess of Wales asked, “Are you okay?”
He replied with a laugh, “I’m fine. Thank you for caring.”

Princess Kate’s three children — Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7 — were also a hit with the crowd during the Christmas outing. The trio collected small gifts like stuffed animals and treats — including a giant hunk of chocolate that Louis was particularly excited about! Charlotte even charmed the crowd by posing for a selfie.
