The BLITZ Tennis Players of the Week are Isobel Summerour (Jefferson) and Lleyton Phillips (Rabun). Summerour won the Fan Vote with 5,013 of the 7,482 total votes. Phillips was the BLITZ Pick.
ISOBEL SUMMEROUR – JEFFERSON
Jefferson’s top singles player, Isobel Summerour, just dominated last week for the Lady Dragons. The junior #1 singles player won both of her matches in straight sets, and went 25-14 in games in total. This is her first POW award.
LLEYTON PHILLIPS – RABUN COUNTY
Rabun County’s Lleyton Phillips has been doing this quite awhile. The junior #1 singles standout earns his fourth career POW award after going 3-0 last week, winning all five sets played. He was 32-9 in games overall.
