“Jersey Shore” Star Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola Marries Justin May in New Jersey Wedding 3 Months After Welcoming First Baby

Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola is married!

The Jersey Shore alum, 38, wed Justin May in a romantic ceremony in New Jersey, PEOPLE confirms.

TMZ was first to report the news. According to the outlet, the nuptials took place at the Park Chateau Estate & Gardens in East Brunswick, NJ, and most of the Jersey Shore cast was in attendance.

Giancola revealed on Instagram that May popped the question to her in March, sharing a photo of the pair posing together while holding up her new engagement ring, a gold band from Cozzi Jewelers, to the camera.

“Life update: Fiancé 💍🥹♥️ 3.16.24 The easiest question I’ve ever answered.. happiest & luckiest girl in the world 😭 I’ll love you forever, and then some 🤍 #Futurewifey #Engaged,” the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star next to a series of photos from their special day. 

The reality television star added, “[I] can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you,” while noting to her followers that the news was “not an April Fools joke.”

Earlier this year, Giancola and May announced they were expecting their first baby together in a joint Instagram post on Sunday, Feb. 23. In addition to sharing that the baby’s due date was August, Giancola reflected on the couple’s journey to parenthood.

“After struggling through years of infertility, this is the absolute greatest blessing we could ever possibly ask for! We are so thrilled to finally be able to share the news of our little miracle with you all! Our hearts have never been so full of love, we can’t wait to meet you baby! 🫶🏼🥹💕,” the caption read.

The pair welcomed their son Vincent Keith May, on Aug. 20, revealing the happy news on Instagram on Tuesday, Aug. 26.

The joint post featured the first snaps of their little one, including one of him swaddled in a blue-and-white striped blanket, and several shots of the newly minted family of three. The last image showed Giancola and May posing outside the hospital holding their bundle of joy.

“Welcome to the world my rainbow miracle baby 🥹🍼 Vincent Keith May August 20, 2025,” she wrote in the caption. “😭 After this very long journey to get here, words cannot describe how blessed and truly grateful we are. Forever living in our baby love bubble until further notice 🥹♥️.”

Giancola previously opened up about having May’s support on an episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation after experiencing a “devastating” miscarriage while undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatments.

“He’s so positive and uplifting. He’s so special to me, and I just am so thankful for him,” Giancola says of her fiancé. “He’s been by my side through this whole thing. I just love him.”

The couple began dating a few months after she and her ex, Christian Biscardi, ended their engagement and two-year romance.

The television personality took her relationship with May public on Nov. 25, 2021 after introducing May to her followers in a post on X (formerly Twitter) in which she wished them a “Happy Thanksgiving” alongside a photo of her and May. The pair could be seen wearing matching black T-shirts and holding hands. 

Since revealing their romance, Giancola has not been shy about celebrating the couple’s relationship milestones. In August 2022, she celebrated their one-year anniversary in an Instagram post, writing, “The best 365 days with you ♥️.”
