Jenna Bush Hager and Sheinelle Jones are sharing their opinions on the alleged feud in the Beckham family.
On a Tuesday, Jan. 20 episode of Today with Jenna & Sheinelle, the two costars discussed Brooklyn Beckham’s comments about the rift between himself and his famous parents, David and Victoria Beckham.
“Yesterday afternoon in a 6-page Instagram story post, [Brooklyn] wrote in part, ‘I do not want to reconcile with my family,’ ” said Bush Hager.

Brooklyn’s post accused his parents of manipulating the press and sabotaging his marriage to wife Nicola Peltz Beckham. He went on to describe several moments in which, he claims, his family attempted to ruin his relationship, including during his 2022 wedding and at his father’s 50th birthday last year.
The Peltz Beckhams have been conspicuously absent from Beckham family holidays or events, which, according to Brooklyn, are a major priority for his family. He says his parents value “public promotion and endorsements above all else … Brand Beckham comes first. Family ‘love’ is decided by how much you post on social media, or how quickly you drop everything to show up and pose for a family photo.”
A rep for David, 50, and Victoria, 51, did not respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
Bush Hager and Jones shared their opinions on the feud, both defending Victoria and David and admitting that they can see the situation from a parent’s perspective.
“I’m almost nice to a fault,” said Jones. “But in this case, I actually feel like it’s not nice of [Brooklyn]. I don’t know what’s happening behind the scenes. I don’t care if it’s true or not. But at the end of the day, to put your parents’ laundry out there…we don’t need to know whatever’s happening.”

Jones also credited David and Victoria for helping Brooklyn get to where he is today.
“You are where you are because of the work that they’ve done. Maybe I’m speaking as a mom,” said Jones, who praised Victoria for “doing the best you can.”
Bush Hager pointed out that it feels “hypocritical” for Brooklyn to be publicly dragging his parents’ names on social media.
“That’s the part that feels sort of hypocritical,” said Bush Hager, adding that the Beckham parents must be “heartbroken” reading Brooklyn’s posts.
“Whether it’s true or not, it’s just…do we need to know about it?” Jones asked. “In the 26 years I’ve been in this business, I don’t think I’ve ever given an opinion, and this is the first time where I’m like, ‘I’m Team Mom.'”
“I have a soft spot for parents because it’s not easy,” added Jones.
