Jason Kelce may be retired from the NFL, but his fans still come to see him on the field!

The former Philadelphia Eagles center, 38, had a hilarious interaction with a fan during his live broadcast for ESPN’s pregame show, Monday Night Countdown, ahead of the Eagles-Packers game on Monday, Nov. 10.

As seen in a now-viral clip circling social media, a woman was spotted in the stands at Lambeau Field holding a sign created in full support of the retired NFL star. Both the text and interaction (or lack there of) amused Kelce and his fellow analysts.

“Packer fan by marriage. ‘Not Gonna Lie,’ only here to see Jason Kelce,” read the handwritten text on the poster.

The text on the sign was accompanied by a doodle of Jason wearing a green “ESPN” shirt and a cheesehead, plus the Packers logo.

When the camera focused on the fan, she was oblivious to the fact that had made it onto the broadcast (and was the topic of Kelce’s conversation).

“We actually met some folks who said that they postponed their marriage to be here tonight,” joked one of Kelce’s ESPN cohosts, Ryan Clark and Marcus Spears, off camerea.

The six-time NFL All-Pro, meanwhile, read the text aloud that was written on the sign held by the fan.

“Shoutout Ky, Not Gonna Lie!” he said of his wife, Kylie Kelce, and her hit podcast series, Not Gonna Lie With Kylie Kelce.

“You look good!” he said to the fan, who had no idea he was complimenting her on air. “Say ‘hi!’ ” he added while waving to her, trying to get her attention but failing, despite his best efforts.

Kelce announced his retirement from the Philadelphia Eagles in March 2024 after a 13-year career with the team.

Attended by his wife Kylie, brother Travis and parents Donna and Ed, the conference saw Jason deliver a tearful 40-minute speech confirming his retirement.

That May, Kelce signed a multi-year agreement with ESPN to join Monday Night Countdown as an analyst.

Kelce made his Monday Night Countdown debut in September 2024. He admitted that he forgot a shirt for the big day (Travis’ fiancée Taylor Swift later revealed that she was “dying laughing” at her soon-to-be brother in-law’s wardrobe fumble).

Meanwhile, the retired NFL player recalled he was “very nervous” for his broadcast debut. “It’s like anything you do your first time. I did not feel prepared. I felt very nervous. I didn’t know what to expect,” he said.

“And then you realize that you were prepared, that ESPN did a great job of setting everything up, and that you’re on set, thankfully, for me with three other guys that have done it a bunch,” he added.
