Week 9 of the 2025 NFL season rolls on and the action will continue with an AFC showdown featuring the Jacksonville Jaguars visiting the Las Vegas Raiders at 4:05 p.m. ET on FOX.
The Raiders are back in action after their bye last week and it was much needed after not accomplishing anything in a 31-0 shutout loss to the Chiefs two Sunday’s ago. The good news is that wide receiver Jakobi Meyers will be back on the field as well and they’re hoping that he can play a huge role against Jacksonville this afternoon in what could possibly be his last game with the franchise.
Below, we’ll go over Meyers’ outlook in fantasy football for Week 9.
Fantasy Football analysis: Raiders WR Jakobi Meyers
Meyers will be back in action for this first time since Week 6 as he sat out their loss to the Chiefs with a knee injury. The veteran receiver had been a reliable hand for the offense prior to the injury, catching 29 targets for 329 yards. Those aren’t explosive numbers, but he’s been consistent enough to warrant some Flex consideration for fantasy managers and he’s actually tied with Tre Tucker for most receptions on the team this season.
Of course, trade speculation surrounding Meyers have persisted throughout the week and there’s a possibility that this will be the last time that he suits up for the Silver and Black before being dealt ahead of Tuesday’s trade deadline. We’ll see how things play out over the next 48 hours.

Sit. All-Pro tight end Brock Bowers is also returning for this contest, so that may eat into Meyers’ target share this afternoon. There’s also a chance the Raiders decide to limit his reps in an effort to avoid him suffering another injury and ruin his trade value. I’d look for other Flex options and sit the wideout this week.
