The BLITZ XC Runners of the Week are Hayden Hand (Dawson County) and Witt Windham (Lumpkin County). Hand won the Fan Vote with 6,042 of the 6,410 total votes. Windham was the BLITZ Pick.
HAYDEN HAND – DAWSON COUNTY
Dawson County’s Hayden Hand ran to a 4th-place finish last week at the Coach Wood Invitational. The senior crossed the line with a 19:37, and secures her eighth career POW award.
WITT WINDHAM – LUMPKIN COUNTY
For the fourth time this year and fifth already in his young career, Witt Windham is the Runner of the Week. The Lumpkin County sophomore was 3rd overall at the North Oconee Invite, finishing with a blistering 15:11.
