The Georgia Department of Education has named several Hall County schools as 2024-25 Literacy Leader and Math Leader Schools.
The distinction recognizes exceptional achievement and growth in reading and mathematics.
Literacy Leader schools include:
Flowery Branch High School – High School Growth
Friendship Elementary School – 3rd Grade Gateway Growth
North Hall High School – High School Growth
World Language Academy – 3rd Grade Gateway Growth
Math Leader schools include:
C.W. Davis Middle School – High School Growth
Cherokee Bluff Middle School – High School Outstanding Achievement
Myers Elementary School – 5th Grade Gateway Growth
North Hall High School – High School Growth
North Hall Middle School – High School Outstanding Achievement
South Hall Middle School – 8th Grade Gateway Growth
West Hall Middle School – High School Growth
World Language Academy Middle School – High School Growth
The Georgia Department of Education’s Literacy Leader and Math Leader designations celebrate schools statewide that are making meaningful progress toward ensuring all students achieve grade-level reading and math proficiency — critical skills that open doors for lifelong learning and success.
