In an effort to find ways to dispose of unwanted prescription medications, the Gwinnett County Police Department is making it easier to do.
The department has installed NarcX® On-Site Collection Receptacles in the lobby of the Gwinnett Police Headquarters and every Police precinct throughout the county.
Unwanted prescription medication has the potential for accidental ingestion, misuse, and environmental contamination. The department is hoping this will give Gwinnett residents a much safer and more secure way to dispose of medications.
Residents can dispose of expired or unwanted pills, tablets, capsules, and liquids Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until to 4 p.m.
