Gwinnett County detectives are investigating a homicide that occurred on Friday, Oct. 31, in Duluth.
The Gwinnett County Police Department said they were called at around 3:00 p.m. to a person shot at 1625 Pleasant Hill Road.
Arriving officers found an adult woman dead with an apparent gunshot wound. Homicide detectives are questioning witnesses, and the Crime Scene Unit is processing the scene and gathering evidence.
According to GCPD, the incident is believed to be a domestic-related homicide. The identity of the victim will be withheld until next of kin is notified.
