The BLITZ Tennis Players of the Week are Khloe Gooch & Cecilia Woody (Lumpkin) and Ava Carnes & Charlotte Stafford (Tallulah Falls). Gooch/Woody won the Fan Vote with 7,780 of the 14,674 total votes. Carnes/Stafford was the BLITZ Pick.

Lumpkin County’s top doubles unit of Khloe Gooch and Cecilia Woody, both seniors, went 2-1 last week. The Lady Indians’ Gooch earns her second career BLITZ award, while Woody gets her first.
AVA CARNES & CHARLOTTE STAFFORD – TALLULAH FALLS
Tallulah Falls’ #1 doubles combo of Ava Carnes and Charlotte Stafford have been unbelievable over several years now. The seniors went 3-0 last week, winning in straight sets. The Lady Indians’ duo won 14 games together in both 2024 and 2025, and this year they are 9-0.
