The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is renewing calls for information in the cold case of a child found dead in Dawson County in 1997.
On Wednesday, the GBI posted to social media, recognizing the 28-year anniversary of when 11-year-old Levi Frady’s body was found in the Dawson Forest Wildlife Management Area on October 22, 1997.
Frady had last been seen on Little Mill Road in Forsyth County before his body was found in Dawson County. Investigators produced sketches of two potential witnesses in the case, one who was seen walking along Little Mill Road on the evening that Frady went missing, and another who was seen in the Dawson Forest Wildlife Management Area that same night.
Those sketches can be seen on the GBI’s Levi Frady case page.
“The Dawson County Sheriff’s Office, the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, and the GBI Cleveland Regional Investigative Office continue to seek leads in this homicide investigation,” the post Wednesday by the GBI said.
Anyone with information on the case is asked to call the GBI’s Cleveland office at 706-348-4866 or the GBI Tip Line at 1-800-597-TIPS (8477).
