Our Game of the Week is another rivalry matchup between White County and Dawson County. The girls matchup features teams that are or have been top-10 ranked this year. The boys are both competitive teams with some big scoring threats.

WHITE VS DAWSON GIRLS
The Lady Warriors have been consistent. That’s huge. All season, they’ve been top-10 ranked. Three of their four losses have come in overtime or been within six points. They’re looing to shake off back-to-back region losses to Pickens and GAC. The Lady Tigers were on a great trajectory until losing Maddie Siuta. The All-State guard was a huge presence on the team. Still, a couple of sophomore standouts are rising to the top, and this is still a very solid team.

WHITE VS DAWSON BOYS
White County has a 1-2 punch offensively that can go toe-to-toe with just about anyone, and some young up-and-coming talent. The wins haven’t come as often, but it’s a process. The Tigers have proven to be a legitimate playoff contending team out of 6-AAA, and have a high-scoring group in which as many as four different players could lead in scoring on a given night.
