Gainesville restaurant City Park Pizza has announced it will close before the end of this year.
The restaurant announced Thursday morning that its last day of service will be December 20, 2025.
“After a wonderful year of serving the community, we’ve made the difficult decision to close the doors of City Park Pizza,” a statement from owners Natasha and Trey McPhaul said. “From the very beginning, our goal was simple – to create a neighborhood where friends, families, and neighbors could come together over greate food with great company. We’re so grateful to everyone who came through our doors, supported us, and helped make our first year so special.”
The restaurant is located on the corner of Ronnie Green Parkway and Park Hill Drive near Gainesville’s City Park Stadium. Residents are invited to visit the restaurant during its final month of operation.
