A Gainesville man has been arrested, charged with sexually assaulting a teenage girl.
A release from the Hall County Sheriff’s Office said Wesley Bleeker Palazzo, age 34, was arrested on Tuesday, Nov. 25, after an investigation that started earlier in the month. That investigation reportedly determined that Palazzo began sexually abusing the victim in 2024, with the assaults happening in more than one location in Hall County.
“The victim disclosed the abuse to a school counselor who in turn contacted the Georgia Division of Family and Child Services,” the sheriff’s office said. “Palazzo and the victim knew one another prior to the crime.”
As of Wednesday, Palazzo remained in the Hall County Jail without bond on charges of aggravated child molestation and aggravated sexual battery.
