The Gainesville City Council has changed the location for its regularly scheduled Work Session on Thursday, Oct. 30 at 9 a.m.
According to a release from the City, the meeting has been moved to the Boathouse at Lake Lanier, located at 3105 Clarks Bridge Road in Gainesville.
The council is set to hold a dedication ceremony to honor the life of the late C. Danny Dunagan Jr., who passed away on Oct.22, 2025. Dunagan was a former Gainesville Mayor and council member. The ceremony will take place in the Ballroom and the meeting will be held immediately after in the Champions Ballroom on the second floor.
