The NFL heads into Week 10 with the playoff race heating up. Nobody will be clinching playoff berths this week, but we’re coming off a week in which some teams firmed up their positioning while others hurt their chances.
The Packers and the Colts both suffered the toughest losses last week. The Panthers shocked the Packers at Lambeau Field, while the Colts lost a tough one at the Steelers, with the Pittsburgh defense turning Daniel Jones into a pumpkin after Halloween. I don’t know anybody who picked Carolina, and in confidence pools, like me, you probably used a lot of confidence points on Green Bay. I had Indy in the other game, but I was much less confident about them.
Last week was a tough one for me as I went 7-7 overall. I was 3-1 with my high confidence picks, 4-4 with my medium confidence picks, and 0-2 in my low confidence picks. I got the Broncos upset of the Texans right, but missed on my Commanders and Bengals upset picks.
This week, we get four games featuring both teams currently sitting on the right side of the playoff picture. The 1 p.m. ET window on Sunday will see the 6-2 Bucs host the 7-2 Patriots, the 4 p.m. window will see the 6-3 49ers host the 6-2 Rams, Sunday Night Football features the 6-3 Chargers hosting the 5-3 Steelers, and Monday Night Football pits the 5-2-1 Packers against the 6-2 Eagles at Lambeau Field. And don’t forget we have a 9:30 a.m. Berlin game between the Colts and Falcons.
On to my Week 10 picks!
