TIGER, Ga. – Rabun County’s season will continue on after they knock off Berrien Friday night, 35-0.
The Wildcats got things rolling early as Ty Truelove linked up with Reed Lafevers at the 7:11 mark to take the early lead. Right before the end of the first quarter, Lake Evans went off tackle to the left and scored from 46 yards to double the lead.
Truelove got another score late in the second quarter as he scrambled in from 14 yards out just before halftime to take a 21-0 lead into intermission. In the second half, Reid Giles took the first play from scrimmage 88 yards before Truelove passed to Ethan Hopper for the final score midway through the third.
The defense for the Wildcats finished with a pair of interceptions and the special teams had a blocked field goal as well.
Rabun County will be on the road next week at Pepperell.
