Although the GHSA Post-Season Rankings haven’t changed much from last week, there are changes in the total PSR value.

In Class 3A, North Hall’s win over Lumpkin County only kept the Trojans undefeated and atop the region standings. What it didn’t do was strengthen their PSR. It actually weakened it. The good news for the Trojans (.71403) is they are still No. 1 for the time being. However, playing last-place Johnson this week might drop them from the top spot.

Jefferson, on the other hand, could make a jump to the top spot … IF … they beat Cherokee Bluff this week. The Dragons (.69981) currently sit in second place, but also saw their PSR drop a bit after being off last week.

Other teams ranked in the top 32, Cherokee Bluff (.54878) is 26 and Lumpkin County (.54269) comes in at 28.

Meanwhile, in Class 2A, East Jackson (.50885) fell six spots to No. 26.

In Class A Division I, Rabun County (.56759) moved up two spots to No. 21.

The Georgia High School Association utilizes the PSR system to seed the top four region qualifiers in the state playoffs for Classes A-D1 through 3A.
