CLEVELAND, Ga. – White County couldn’t get much going Friday night in a 40-14 loss at the hands of GAC.
The Spartans jumped out to a 23-0 lead early in the second quarter before the Warriors finally got on the scoreboard at the 4:57 mark of the second quarter when Alex Freeman found Zach Godfrey for a 5-yard touchdown pass.
GAC went on to score the next 17 points to stretch the lead to 40-7, but the Warriors fought until the end as Easton Drew punched it in from a yard out to get to the final score.
The Warriors have their final road trip of the regular season next week when they head to Chestatee.
