A Flowery Branch man has been charged with 400 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
The charges for 33-year-old Stanley Bruce Fyfe IV came on Wednesday when he was arrested at his residence on Paradise Point.
The investigation began in June of 2024 when investigators received a cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).
Between June and December of last year, the Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) received six more tips involving the physical and IP addresses associated with the initial tip.
“In February of this year, they executed a search warrant,” HCSO spokesperson Derreck Booth said. “Fyfe was not home during the search warrant … on March 2, investigators confiscated a cellphone from Mr. Fyfe who had returned home at that time.”
A forensic search of the phone was completed this month, with investigators locating at least 400 images of child sexual abuse material and obtained the felony arrest warrant for Fyfe.
“The case does remain under investigation … additional charges against Mr. Fyfe are possible,” Booth said.
When asked if any of the victims are local, Booth said he could not comment one way or the other due to the active nature of the investigation.
Fyfe is being held in the Hall County Jail without bond.
