If you’ve never been to Auburn, Alabama let me congratulate you on the money you’ve saved on tetanus shots and bail bondsmen. If you have however, you know that there are few venues in the SEC in which the fans can get louder when things are going well for the home team. By turns, I don’t know of any place in the Southland that gets quiet or empties out so fast when things go wrong.
The brief for the Bulldogs is simple then. Start fast, take control of the game, and don’t relinquish it. Doing so would go a long way toward not only beating the accursed Plainsmen, it would also do a lot to show that this young Bulldog team is growing up in time for the meat of their SEC schedule.
Go ‘Dawgs!!!
