One week now remains in the 2025 high school football regular season, and Week 11 sent shockwaves throughout Northeast Georgia.
North Hall claimed their second straight 6-3A title with a win over Johnson, while Jefferson got one step closer to another 8-3A title with a victory at Cherokee Bluff. In 7-5A, Gainesville fell two points shy of winning the region championship, and now they must wait to figure out where they will be seeded in the playoffs.
Rabun County also fell just shy of having a chance at the region title in 8-A Division I, while Jackson County and Habersham Central set up their 8-5A title showdown next week with wins. Buford also did their job to set up a region championship next week against Mill Creek.
