Fernando Mendoza is 22-going-on-your-dad, and he’s heard your jokes. One of the big talking points about Mendoza during Indiana’s ascent to the natty was that he stays off social media, unlike most of his peers, having deleted every app except for LinkedIn. Telling ESPN it’s a “positive place,“ Mendoza chooses to keep people updated there — the same way a pyramid scheme selling scented candle parties might do.

We all knew the post was coming, and he didn’t let us down.

It’s the perfect post for LinkedIn that both offers a little bit of information, and also cracks a joke about B2B sales. The real question is whether or not the Raiders are going to hit him up on LinkedIn for his resume. Sure, any old person can look at film or a stat sheet, but you know Mendoza rushed home after beating Miami to update his resume and add “College Football National Champion” to his list of accomplishments.

Now we wait and see if Mendoza will accept Las Vegas’ invitation to connect.
