February’s Full Moon Sets Your Heart on Fire and 3 Zodiac Signs Will Be Completely Transformed

February’s full moon in Leo will emerge on the first of the month, and it turns our attention directly toward our heart’s desires.

This full moon, also dubbed the Snow Moon, will arrive on Feb. 1, 2026, at 2:09 p.m. PT. Celebrity astrologer Kyle Thomas tells PEOPLE that full moons often “symbolize turning points, culminations, endings or awakenings,” with this one in particular echoing “themes, situations and discussions that began near the new moon in Leo on July 24, 2025.”

“Reflect back on that period and see how much progress you’ve made since then,” he advises.

Other attentions will be pulled toward themes of expression, creativity, fertility, children, hobbies or sports, Thomas says, telling people to “embrace what makes you happy and step into the spotlight.”

Other astrological aspects will further color this time, including the full moon’s opposition to Mars, the planet of passion, and Venus, the planet of pleasure.

“This once again draws companionship, relationships, beauty and desire to the forefront of our vision,” Thomas explains. “On a positive note, this can amplify great levels of intimacy and a love for life, but they can also draw a stark awareness if there is a contrast in emotions and situations that are not on an equal level.”

As a result of these oppositions, many “joyous” unions will arise, especially concerning both new and established love. However, others could find themselves experiencing “heightened emotions and anger” when they feel that their values and energy are not being reciprocated or respected.

Mercury, the planet of the mind, is also slightly more distantly opposite the full moon, which will add “a flurry of information” and will emphasize that balancing feelings and thoughts can prove challenging.

Pluto is also in opposition, meaning that we will “experience transformation at this time.” However, Thomas says, “it is likely to be in a way where we must face off with others or our hidden depths to get there.”

Technically, Kyle explains, this full moon is ruled by the sun, causing a very noticeable “push-pull” energy in our lives.

Though there will not be an eclipse with this full moon, eclipse season still rages on, with Thomas noting that we “may find that destined events and heightened experiences do occur.”

“This is because we are one month away from a lunar eclipse, which will amplify the energies we are set to experience then,” he continues. “The best thing to do now is to take a deep look at what you value, who you are, and how you express your light in your life and within your relationships,” is Thomas’ advice.

If you’re already in a committed relationship, enjoy a whirlwind romance with your sweetheart and make plans for a special date night. “Last, and certainly not least, if looking to conceive, you’ll have one of the luckiest periods of your entire life to do so,” Thomas reveals.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

It’s time to nest, Taurus! “The Snow Moon will be encouraging you to snuggle up at home over a romantic candlelit dinner,” Thomas tells PEOPLE. Some Tauruses might find themselves in the process of moving, changing their living space up or even hosting a dazzling home event. “If you’d like to make any changes to your home in the year to come, now would be a perfect time to go shopping,” Thomas advises.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

Speak your truth, Gemini! “People’s ears are perking up to hear what you have to say,” Thomas notes. For some Geminis, they may find themselves in the process of releasing a milestone writing or communications-related endeavor, or a contract may pop up for you to sign. “If needing a change of pace, set out to go investigate special gems and be a tourist in your town,” says Thomas.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

Wealth is calling your name, Cancer. “Step into the spotlight and treat this week like you’re on the runway, Leo,” Thomas says. This full moon is going to ignite your spirit, giving you the courage to “roar” louder than you’ve ever done before. “Work toward what sets your soul on fire and it will very easily be yours,” Thomas says.
