A Gillsville man, Teodoro Vasquez Rodriguez, 32, remains in the Hall County Jail with no bond after being charged with molesting a girl under the age of 16.
HCSO NARRATIVE:
“Vasquez Rodriguez was arrested on Friday…after the victim reported the abuse to a counselor at her school.
The case was assigned to criminal investigators with the Hall County Sheriff’s Office who charged the suspect with child molestation, sexual battery and grooming a child for indecent purposes, all felony offenses.
The investigation to date determined the assault of the child had occurred on multiple occasions between (last August and the middle of this month). The suspect and the victim are known to one another.
Vasquez Rodriguez has (also) been placed on an immigration “hold.””
