“DWTS” Pro Sasha Farber Reveals He Choreographed Demi Lovato and Jutes’ Wedding Dance

Sasha Farber is addressing rumors that he choreographed Demi Lovato and Jordan “Jutes” Lutes‘ wedding dance.

Speculation that Farber, 41, helped the musicians prepare for their first dance sparked after the professional dancer posted a photo on Instagram of himself dancing with Lovato, 33, at Millennium Dance Complex in Los Angeles, on May 10. During the Thursday, Nov. 13, episode of E! The Rundown, the Dancing with the Stars pro revealed that Lovato’s security guard — who is a “really good buddy” of his — told him of the couple’s plans to tie the knot and asked him if he would be “up for doing” their wedding dance. Of course, Farber accepted.

“It was so beautiful to be in the studio and see them dance together, and look into each other’s eyes,” Farber told host Erin Lim Rhodes. “It was beautiful.”

He added, “Also, too, he’s an amazing leader. Like he was leading her and dipping her, but then there were so many moment of just [looking] into each other’s faces. And it was like, ‘Who gives a f— about anything else?’ Just the love and the look into each other’s eyes was like magic.”

Back in May, Farber praised Lovato for her dance moves, writing on social media, “How good is her frame @ddlovato 🥹👏👏👏.”

Lovato and Jutes, 34, got married in a romantic ceremony in Santa Barbara, California, on May 25. Speaking to Vogue about their wedding in an interview published on May 27, the couple revealed that Johnny Rzeznik from the Goo Goo Dolls performed “Iris” for their first dance.

“It was surreal,” the “Cool for the Summer” singer told the magazine. “This was a pinch-us moment. It’s our favorite song and has so much meaning to both of us.”

Later in the night, the couple’s close friend Paris Hilton took over the DJ booth, ramping up the party.

“Paris literally shook the dance floor with her DJ skills,” Lovato recalled. “And I mean the entire floor moved with her beats.”

Lovato isn’t the only celebrity to have enlisted a pro from Dancing with the Stars alum to choreograph their wedding dance. Most recently, Dancing with the Stars season 33 champion Joey Graziadei revealed that his former dance partner Jenna Johnson and her husband, Val Chmerkovskiy, will choreograph his and his fiancée Kelsey Anderson‘s first dance.

“Her and Val are going to make sure that we look as good as we can,” the former Bachelor said during a TikTok live session in November.

However, he admitted that’s nerve-wracking because the duo will be able to spot any dance mistakes because they’ll also be guests at the wedding, noting, “I think it’s going to be funny because you’re going to be there and watching it and I know you and Val are gonna be nervous to see it and we’re going to be nervous to not mess it up.”
