I used to dread laundry day, and rightfully so – I live in a third-floor New York City walk-up without a washing machine, so in order to clean my clothes, I have to haul everything out of my building, around the corner, and down the block to the nearest laundromat. It’s not a terrible trek, but when dirty laundry piles up, the journey is quite tiresome, and it hasn’t worn well on my college-era Santa Claus-like laundry sack.
