CORNELIA — The Cornelia City Commission will meet Tuesday, Nov. 4, to consider an annexation request and several new business items, including a language access plan and a short-term camera system trial.
The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at Cornelia City Hall following an invocation and pledge of allegiance. Commissioners are scheduled to hear a public hearing on an annexation request from Cook Construction & Real Estate before turning to new business.
Agenda items include a resolution to adopt a Language Action Plan, an agreement with Flock Safety for a 60-day trial of its automated camera system, and a proposed ordinance related to the city’s development assistance and real property acquisition procedures. The commission will also issue an Arbor Day proclamation.
City Manager Donald Anderson Jr. will deliver his monthly report, and residents will have an opportunity to speak during the public forum portion of the meeting.
The meeting is open to the public.
