A 29-year-old Cleveland woman was arrested on Friday after allegedly punching a 29-year-old male victim “multiple times” on or around his head during an argument while he was driving.

According to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO), the incident occurred on Sept. 13 while they were driving on Clarks Bridge Road.

That’s when Taylor Brianna Barrett reportedly punched the victim in the presence of a child and prevented the child from calling 9-1-1.

Barrett then got out of the vehicle when the victim slowed down at around Clarks Bridge and Lula Roads.

The White County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) let HCSO know about the incident when it happened, and investigators obtained warrants on Oct. 28 after their investigation.

Barrett was booked into the Hall County Jail on charges of battery under the Family Violence Act, 9-1-1 obstruction, and cruelty to children in the third-degree.

Barrett has since been released on $5,000 bond on Saturday.
