DEMOREST, Ga. — A Cleveland man has died following a two-vehicle wreck on Georgia Highway 105/Cannon Bridge Road in Demorest on Saturday.
According to authorities, the wreck occurred around 1:15 p.m. on October 25 at the intersection of GA 105 and Cap Fry Road. Habersham County Coroner Kasey McEntire identified the deceased driver as 71-year-old Arlen Ross Garrett of Cleveland. He was transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, where he died several hours later from his injuries.
The Georgia State Patrol has not released details of the crash. The incident remains under investigation by law enforcement.
