Officials with the city of Winder are inviting its residents and holiday enthusiasts alike to join them later this week for an annual event downtown.
The City of Winder will kick off the holiday season with the Winder Tree Lighting at Jug Tavern Park on Thursday, November 20, from 6–8 p.m. You are invited to gather with family and friends to watch the tree light up at 6:30 p.m., then enjoy photos with Santa, free crafts, and s’more roasting by the fire pits (while supplies last).
You can also celebrate the magic of the season with a cozy night in the park as the event is free and open to the public. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy festive activities and community cheer before the tree lighting begins.
“It’s one of Winder’s most magical nights,” said Talore Ruedt, Director of Events. “We’re excited to welcome everyone to the park and celebrate together.”
The event is free and open to the public.
