Cheryl Hines is remembering her time spent with Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner, following the couple’s deaths.

In a tribute shared to social media on Monday, Dec. 15, the Curb Your Enthusiasm alum, 60, wrote that she met the director, 78, and photographer, 68, after she worked for them as an assistant, more than three decades before they were killed at their Los Angeles home on Sunday, Dec. 14.

“The loss of Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner is devastating. I met them 31 years ago when I began working for them as an assistant and instantly loved their generosity, humor, and unwavering inspiration,” Hines, who is married to U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr., captioned an Instagram post.

“Their legacy lives on in the countless lives they touched and the countless ways they made the world brighter,” Hines continued.

Hines’ photo had Rob in the center, with his arms over her and Michele’s shoulders. All three smiled for the camera.
