JEFFERSON, Ga. — For the second time this season the Flowery Branch boys held off Apalachee, 56-54, on Tuesday in the Jackson EMC Classic at The Arena.
The Falcons (7-1) were led by junior Remington Akins with a game-high 17 points. Senior Jack Huey added 15 points, including the game-winning basket in the final 30 seconds. Senior Adam Sanders had 11 points for Branch.
Flowery Branch next will travel to Johnson on Dec. 5.
