Hello and welcome to the Week 11 waiver wire watch!
Another weekend of NFL action is mostly in the books and the second half of the 2025 regular season is officially underway. There were several notable efforts from under-the-radar tight ends throughout the week and many of these guys could end up playing big roles for their respective teams down the stretch.
We’ll go over some performers that you should consider scooping off the waiver wire ahead of Week 11 and as always, we’ll classify a waiver add as someone who is rostered in 60% of leagues at the max.
Week 11 byes: Indianapolis Colts, New Orleans Saints
Dalton Schultz, TE, Houston Texans (31.3%)
Schultz has been stepping up for the Texans’ offense as of late and he played a role in the team’s dramatic fourth-quarter comeback against the Jaguars on Sunday. The veteran caught seven of 11 targets for 53 yards and a late touchdown that helped in the 36-29 victory over their AFC South rival. He’s now finished as a top-10 fantasy tight end for the week in three of his last four outings, so he’s someone that’s heating up in the middle stages of the regular season. Keep him on your radars.
Week 11 matchup: @ Tennessee Titans, 1 p.m. ET
Colston Loveland, TE, Chicago Bears (50.4%)
Loveland followed up his breakout performance in Week 9 with solid showing against the Bears on Sunday, catching four targets for 55 yards. The first-round rookie split his snaps with Cole Kmet in the contest and he’s becoming the pass-catching threat that the franchise brass envisioned as the team has suddenly climbed back into the NFC North race.
Something to note is that his rostership has more than doubled from last week and may not even be a waiver wire option by this time next Tuesday. If you’re interested, submit a bit ASAP.
Week 11 matchup: @ Minnesota Vikings, 1 p.m. ET
Cade Otton, TE, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (30.6%)
The Buccaneers came up short in a 28-23 loss to the Patriots, but they got a strong outing out of Otton throughout the afternoon. The fourth-year tight end had a season-high nine receptions for 82 yards in the setback and was a reliable option for Baker Mayfield as the team tried to come back in the second half.
Otton has surged over the past few weeks after spending the first month of the season primarily blocking due to all of the injuries on the Bucs’ offensive line. With the offense still missing pass-catchers like Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, he should continue to see a healthy amount of targets moving forward.
Week 11 matchup: @ Buffalo Bills, 1 p.m. ET
Theo Johnson, TE, New York Giants (38.3%)
The Giants blew a 10-point fourth quarter lead in a 24-20 loss to the Bears on Sunday, marking their fourth straight loss. Johnson at least did his part with seven receptions for 75 yards in the loss and his production has been one of the lone bright spots of a miserable 2-8 campaign for the G-Men. He’s averaged roughly six targets a game over the past month and there’s bound to be more in the coming weeks as NY plays out the string.
Week 11 matchup: vs. Green Bay Packers, 1 p.m. ET
