Hello and welcome to the Week 10 waiver wire watch!
Another weekend of NFL action is mostly in the books and we’re officially at the halfway point of the 2025 regular season. We didn’t get too notable tight end performances over the weekend, but a few under-the-radar guys managed to stand out a little bit.
We’ll go over some performers that you should consider scooping off the waiver wire ahead of Week 10 and as always, we’ll classify a waiver add as someone who is rostered in 60% of leagues at the max.
Week 10 byes: Cincinnati Bengals, Dallas Cowboys, Kansas City Chiefs, Tennessee Titans
Colston Loveland, TE, Chicago Bears (24.3%)
Loveland believers, you weren’t wrong…just early. The first-round rookie out of Michigan finally had the breakout game that Bears fans were looking for, going off for six receptions, 118 yards, and two touchdowns in their dramatic 47-42 win over the Bengals. It was his 58-yard touchdown that put the Bears over the top with just 17 seconds left on the board, bouncing off Cincinnati defenders to get the job done.
With Cole Kmet sustaining a concussion in the contest, Loveland may get a shot at some more targets in next Sunday’s matchup against the Giants. He’s going to be a hot commodity on the waiver wire this week, so submit your bids fast.
Week 10 matchup: vs. New York Giants, 1 p.m. ET
Harold Fannin Jr., TE, Cleveland Browns (51.6%)
The Browns were off on a bye this past week and there’s still an opportunity to submit a bid for Fannin ahead of next Sunday’s matchup against the Jets. The rookie out of Bowling Green has been light for the struggling Browns offense, entering Week 9 ranked in the top 10 among tight ends in both receptions (38) and receiving yards (352).
And that’s not even mentioning the fact that his veteran counterpart David Njoku has been involved in trade speculation, although it is unlikely the Browns will move him at the moment. Get your Fannin bids in now while he’s still a waiver option.
Week 10 matchup: @ New York Jets, 1 p.m. ET
Theo Johnson, TE, New York Giants (29.3%)
The Giants stumbled to their third straight loss in a 34-24 setback against the 49ers, but at least got another productive day out of Johnson. The second-year Penn State product caught three targets for 27 yards and his fifth touchdown of the season on Sunday and currently has the third-most scores among tight ends. He’s been a consistent target for Jaxson Dart in recent weeks and should be readily available if you want to take advantage of that.
Week 10 matchup: @ Chicago Bears, 1 p.m. ET
AJ Barner, TE, Seattle Seahawks (15.5%)
Barner made his mark in the Seahawks’ 38-14 blowout win over the Commanders on Sunday night, but not in a way you’d expect. The second-year Michigan product caught just three targets for 24 yards, but actually took a direct snap for a one-yard rushing touchdown to pile it on late for Seattle. He continues to be a prime, go-to option for the Seahawks in the red zone and continues to be a tight end option worth looking into/
Week 10 matchup: vs. Arizona Cardinals, 4:05 p.m. ET
