Benchmade Fishcrafter 5″ – A Premium Panfish Fillet Knife
Benchmade is continuing its line of award-winning fishing knives with a new addition to the fillet knives, the Fishcrafter 5″. A premium fillet knife made of CPM Magnacut, a newer stainless tool steel that has both great toughness and edge retention, with excellent corrosion resistance and strength. The smallest of the three fillet knife options, the new Fishcrafter 5″ has been designed and tuned for breaking down smaller fish. So perfect for spring crappie, bluegill, perch, and white bass, along with any of the smaller saltwater species like spring Spanish mackerel and mangrove snapper. The blade is flexible and perfect for gliding over bones, with the razor-sharp SelectEdge tech. For the handle, Benchmade uses textured Depth Blue Santoprene, a grippy vulcanized rubber material that won’t slip in your hand even when wet. Additionally, like all Benchmade knives, these come with the Lifesharp Guarantee and lifetime warranty, so if anything happens to the knife or the edge finally does dull, Benchmade has you covered. MSRP for the Fishcrafter 5″ is set at $225 and will be available for purchase in March.
