With most systems being out for the holidays, area basketball teams have hit the roadways this week for some interesting tournaments around the Southeast.
However, one of the better lineups will be in Jefferson in the Jackson EMC Tipoff Classic. The Peach State Explosion Tournament at Cedar Shoals in Athens has several area teams as well.
Those tournaments will continue through Tuesday.
Both Gainesville teams will be in Alabama at separate events, but the Big Red boys are in a powerhousr tournament in Huntsville with some of Alabama’s top teams.
