The suspect wanted for a deadly drive by shooting at the Azalea Ridge Apartments is now in police custody. Donald Fair was arrested Monday, November 10th, 2025, on warrants for murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
30-year-old Demetrius Wilkerson was sitting in the passenger side of a vehicle on November 8, 2025, at 3:32 a.m. at the apartment complex on Boxwood Boulevard when he was shot according to Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan. EMS responded to the scene and could not resuscitate him. Deputy Coroner Ben Saxon responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased at 4:10 a.m.
Fair is scheduled to appear in Recorder’s Court for a preliminary hearing Thursday, November 13, 2025.
