Sunshine is on its way back to central Georgia. But first, another backdoor cold front will be gradually pushing southeast through the day Wednesday acting as a focus for more scattered to widespread afternoon showers and storms.
Temperatures will climb ahead of the front, but as it arrives in your location, expect the wind to pick up and temperatures to fall.
Those closer to Atlanta will get it first, with lower temps and humidity spreading southwest through the evening and overnight. Winds will increase this evening and gust up to 20 m.p.h. at times. This front will push through overnight and bring lots of sunshine, cooler temps and breezy conditions for your Wednesday.
Winds will gust up to 25 m.p.h. on Wednesday with highs in the upper-70s. From Thursday into the weekend sunshine will continue with highs creeping up each day.
