The Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) TV team has earned an Emmy Award presented by the Southeast Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
The award recognizes excellence in the Children/Teen – Short Form Content (up to 10 Minutes) category.
The award-winning video 2025 CTAE Students of the Year, showcases Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE) students and their experiences with hands-on learning and real-world opportunities across GCPS.
“Our GCPS TV team truly values creating videos featuring students and the work happening in our schools,” says Kevin Tomlinson, director of GCPS TV. “The video highlighting CTAE students is always fun to produce each year for their recognition ceremony. It also helps to showcase the many opportunities students have in the district’s CTAE pathways. I’m so proud of the work I see our team do each day, and it’s an honor for it to be recognized by others in winning this Emmy.”
This recognition reflects GCPS’s focus on innovation and excellence in educational communications and its emphasis on storytelling as a powerful tool to inform, engage, and celebrate the accomplishments of its students and staff.
