Lanier Christian Academy (LCA) is responding to the arrest of a former teacher and football coach Thursday on charges that he took pictures from under the clothing of female students. EARLIER STORY. “While this is devastating for the victims and heartbreaking for our school community, we are grateful this we reported,” says a statement issued by school officials.
They go on to say that Joel Ernest Lulinski, who is facing 27 charges, went through a background check before being hired seven years ago and subsequent checks were conducted throughout his employment.
Counselors will be on hand at the Flowery Branch school today and available for victims, parents and any students.
