In April, LifeLink® of Georgia, an independent, non-profit organ and tissue recovery organization dedicated to serving patients in need of transplant therapy, encourages you to consider signing up to be an organ donor. Kyla Harris, Public Affairs Coordinator for LifeLink of Georgia, says consider registering to be an organ donor.
There are multiple ways you can register as a donor, adds Harris.
No matter how you register, the last, very important step is sharing your decision about being an organ, eye, and tissue donor with your family.
