
A South Hall woman was being held without bond in the Hall County Jail Thursday morning following her arrest earlier in the week in Flowery Branch on drug distribution and other charges.
FLOWERY BRANCH POLICE NEWS RELEASE:
“(On Tuesday), Flowery Branch Police Officers observed a Chevrolet
pickup truck perform an improper lane change on Spout Springs Road.
As a result of the observed violation, a traffic stop was initiated. During the traffic
stop, officers discovered the vehicle’s passenger, Suzanne Michelle Rodgers, 48,
of Flowery Branch, was in possession of several small bags of suspected
methamphetamine, multiple containers containing small amounts of suspected
marijuana, and several drug-related objects. Ms. Rodgers was detained and
secured in the rear of a patrol vehicle.
While in the patrol vehicle, Ms. Rodgers attempted to destroy additional
suspected methamphetamine that had been concealed on her person.
Ms. Rodgers was charged with the following offenses:
Possession of methamphetamine
Possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute
Possession of marijuana
Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute
Possession of drug-related objects
Tampering with evidence”
